We had a great time in Joao’s Blue Hotel. The van came equipped with everything we needed to cook and clean and there were tons of USB outlets to charge our phones, speakers, and backup batteries. The bed, pillows, and blankets provided were super comfortable and we slept well during our 15 day rental! Joao gave detailed instructions on how to use the equipment. I will say that driving the van definitely has a learning curve to it and you should be confident driving an older manual vehicle. Joao was available if we needed anything but our trip was smooth and we didn’t have any issues. Traveling Portugal by van is 100% the best way to explore and I recommend renting a van from Joao!

The van was amazing, the back side has been renovated by Joao and is comfortable and really nice. Joao has been more than available. Great experience!

The van of Joao is great and we had an awesome time exploring Portugal with it. From the technical side of view, it had some minor issues, but Joao said he would fix it. I would definetely rent a van from Joao again!

Overall process was simple and easy. Upload the required documentation through Yescapa portal to secure the desired vehicle. Payment made easy without the requirement of a creditcard, via PayPal. Email confirmation and great communication from the owner. An absolute delightful adventure is to be had, and how to put that amazing adventure into the right words that express our wildest dreams come true. On the other hand, i don't want to write that good of a review because I want to keep this my little secret place to have the best van hire experience and family holiday in Portugal.
