À améliorer : .the grass was too long in our field for our liking and with the cuttings left on the grass,. Combined with morning dews and some rain it made walking to and from the facilities a bit of a pain Lack of really hot water in lower toilet block (near main entrance)

Points positifs : De grote kampeerplekken op ons veld was erg fijn; het was er ook erg rustig.

À améliorer : Veel achterstallig onderhoud aan groenvoorziening waardoor bomen verpieteren en doodgaan.Er zal flink gesnoeid en gekapt moeten worden en klimop en mos verwijderen van bomen. Direct naast onze plek brak een grote kruin uit een hoge boom terwijl het nauwelijks waaide. Het restaurant viel erg tegen voor een kasteelcamping: de menukaart was redelijk beperkt, het personeel niet erg gastvrij en professioneel, het moest allemaal erg gehaast. Sanitaire voorzieningen zijn beperkt. Toen warm water uitviel duurde het erg lang voordat er mobiele douches kwamen; geen heldere communicatie hierover.

Points positifs : we have stayed here on a number of occasions in the past. On this occasion we were only staying one night en route across France, but we were still made to feel very welcome. The site has everything you want for a longer (or a short) stay and we dined very well in the restaurant in the evening. Thank you Chanteloup. We'll definitely be back.

À améliorer : the signage off the main road is not very clear and travelling in the direction we were the sign was just after the point you needed to make the turn, so we had to do a tour of the local village before getting back onto the main road. The locals seem to think this is a quite common experience. I think on previous occasions when we visited Chanteloup we were coming from the other direction so did not experience that problem then, or we simply forgot!

Points positifs : As usual everyone at Ch Chanteloup was very welcoming - all very efficient with a lovely relaxed ambiance on site

Points positifs : Na al die jaren nog steeds een leuke charmante en rustige camping waar ik goed tot rust kan komen

À améliorer : Het water in de douche is niet altijd warm en sommige kranen in de wasbak ruimtes zijn vervangen door een ouderwetse drukknop waardoor alles nat wordt en je eigenlijk nog geen water kunt gebruiken dit doet de camping goedkoop worden

Points positifs : Our request for a shaded site was granted which was a relief as we were there during the heatwave. The reception staff could not be more helpful and provided some freezer space to chill our cool packs. The bar and restaurant were lovely although the menu is a bit unimaginative. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The pool area was very pretty and catered for kids as well as adults.

À améliorer : The only negative I have is about dealing with plastic waste. Bins for general waste and glass waste were plentiful across the site but there was a sign on the bins saying plastic waste must be taken to the bin at the red gate. I asked a member of staff where it was and he took me in a buggy. I think it would be helpful to have a bin for plastic waste along side the other bins.
