Points positifs : The site was very clean and well maintained. We also liked being so close to the village and many options for scenic walks and outings. Staff were very friendly.

À améliorer : As we were there early in the season the pool and restaurant weren’t open which we hadn’t realised until we arrived.

Points positifs : Clean, friendly Staff, super location.

À améliorer : Water in the shower took a long time to heat up.

Points positifs : Super campsite with a lot of detail thought about to make it a great place for camping.

À améliorer : Nothing I can think of. Unless you can move the Alps and herds of wildebeest strolling across the fields into the scenery….

Points positifs : We love it here and have been many times, it never fails to please. Immaculate site, full of mature trees, good sized pitches (ours right next to the Loire), with great facilities - spotless shower block/loos with nearby composting and waste facilities, laundry, wifi, chickens and herbs!, great nearby local shops, very interesting place and handy for big towns like Saumur and Chinon.

Points positifs : The campsite was very peaceful and tidy. The staff were very friendly and we ate in the Restaurant and the food was good. The Abbey and the village square is only a few minutes walk away with a market on Sunday. Next time we visit we will also be making a trip to Saumur, which is around 13 miles away.

À améliorer : A number of the showers were out of use, so it could get little busy

Points positifs : We loved the site and facilities. The views of the Loire fantastic and the staff were very friendly.Shower walls could do with more attention i.e cleaning.

Points positifs : Position of the site is wonderful - on the river, within a few steps of the village centre, with good cycling available from site, and within easy reach of many interesting attractions. Staff courteous and friendly.

À améliorer : The condition of the pitch surface was terrible, and although 'grand comfort' there was no water tap and drainage for the caravan (we asked to move pitches). The chemical emptying point had an awkward arrangement with some hose from a tap outside it, and not really long enough for purpose (a tap and hose within the emptying enclosure would help! ) The communal facilities were adequate, but desperately need updating.
