Points positifs : The campsite itself is very clean and suitable for all ages with plenty to do during your stay. The staff and service was great and everybody is friendly. We ate at the restaurant on a number of occasions and was impressed with the food and service we received, particular thanks to Michael who couldn’t do any more to make our visit any better, also thanks to Kyle.

À améliorer : During our stay, we had a cooked chicken from the takeaway, this chicken was so tough that we had to throw it away. As you leave reception on arrival to the pitch the first dog leg bend has a blind spot and it’s not always possible to see the children (or adults!) on bikes, maybe a convex mirror would help? Not sure if already there, but solar would be a great improvement for the environment.

Points positifs : Nette en gezellige camping in de natuur. Paardrijden en vissen was leuk, net zwembad.

À améliorer : Go carts en trampoline zijn weinig open en dan ook nog betalend, zou gewoon altijd gratis ter beschikking moeten zijn voor de kinderen gezien de prijs die je betaalt voor je verblijf. Armbandjes die verplicht te dragen zijn zitten niet goed door het harde plastic schijfje van her cashless systeem, wat wij niet gebruikten. Er zouden meer vuilbakken om re recyclen her en der op de camping mogen staan. Het is een camping in Frankrijk, niet alle animatie moet aangepast worden aan Engelsen of Ieren.

Points positifs : We liked everything really! We had the best meal of our holiday in the restaurant! It was absolutely delicious! And the service was excellent too. Friendly and helpful staff. We also thought the planting around the camp was very beautiful. Gorgeous, well tended plants. So hats off to your gardeners! And of course, the wonderful celebrations for your 60th anniversary. What a fabulous evening it was. A really lovely stay and so much to see and do. Fabulous!

À améliorer : Milk alternative for coffee ie soya, oat, coconut milk would have been good.

À améliorer : On arrival with a large touring caravan there is little or no space to pull up to check-in with out block peoples access. Please also direct/escort large touring units via the larger roadway as to try and manoeuvre around some of the corners is near impossible

Points positifs : Reception very welcoming. Bivouac site very comfortable. Market on site well stocked. Family playland.

À améliorer : Horse manure smell during dinner was overwhelming. Sanitaries a long way from campsite. Lots of kids everywhere - hard if you’re not used to noise and action. Restaurant closed on Monday during high season.

Points positifs : Again another fantastic holiday at La Garangeoire. This is our 7th year and it really is like home from home for us. Our three children aged 13, 8 and 11 all love being at La Garangeoire. This year the night walk was a massive hit and of course the night swim! Anne and Eric and all their staff continously go above and beyond to make La Garangeoire as special as it is. We are looking forward to returning again next year.

À améliorer : The new Safari Village is gnerally beautifully done. However the usability of the deck space is pretty comprimised by the heavy wooden furniture - particularly the 'armchairs'. It would be good to have an outdoor table and three stool at the bar rather than 2. I would re-consider the 'armchairs' completely - they have a very large footprint [ on quite a compact deck ] and are very heavy to move even for an adult male.

Points positifs : The pitch was a great size, and having water, drainage and electricity made the holiday so relaxing. The staff were very friendly and it was great to have the restaurant, take-away and shop on site. Also the toilet/ shower blocks were being constantly cleaned and it was great to have the facility to use the washing machines. The lagoon was amazing and having the lake to fish , walk round or use the boats was great. The swimming pool was lovely with plenty of loungers. The park and sports areas were also good. We enjoyed the marked walks around the woodland.

À améliorer : The boats were difficult to access. The lagoon had no shade. It would have been nice if a transport was laid on to visit local attractions such as Lac Jeunay and Les Sables. Should have had more shade round the pool.

Points positifs : Family friendly - all ages well catered for. The perfect place to male and share precious memories with family. A large site, yet quiet, and relaxed. A well stocked shop with sensible prices, and a good restaurant. Helpful and cheery staff. We came in iur caravan to share a holiday with our daughter and small grandson who were staying in a nearby holiday cabin, and had a magical time.

À améliorer : The vegetation near the main ‘crossroad/corner’ would benefit from being cut back as there were numerous times when cars/site buggies/small children running or on scooters almost came to grief as the corner is busy, used by all types of camper and vehicles, and quite a ‘blind bend’. We also experienced a number of people driving far too fast in the small roads where children could run out (including staff members on buggies).
