À améliorer : I booked on-line and paid £30 only to arrive and be told on arrival that we had not booked electric. I really felt that this had been orchestrated as they had already taken my money. As we were staying only one night, I declined the electric! We were put in a tent pitch which was okay. The toilets are old, but clean. We didn’t use the shower as we had an early crossing the next morning! On reflection, I wished we stayed on the aire in Watten that we’d stayed on which again had no electric but which was free and very pleasant, when we arrived in France.

Points positifs : A return after 10 years and all is still very good at Chateau du Gandspette. From making our reservation, answering queries, adding an extra night and arranging for our pet visit to the vets, all before we arrived, Julien was very helpful which gave us peace of mind for the end of our holiday. A smooth check in, great pitch, good facilities and excellent meal in the restaurant . A perfect stop for the final 3 days to our holiday.
