Hi there!

I'm Ross, I'm from Northern Ireland but living in Sheffield currently. I love travelling the world any chance i get! The van I'm renting out, Cherry, was bought as a project in order to allow me to travel more freely and easily. Three years ago whilst travelling around Asia on a motorbike, i had a crash, unfortunately leading to a right leg amputation. After a lot of rehab, learning to use a prosthetic and learning to live an adaptive life, I needed to get back to travelling again but in a different way. Cherry allowed me to travel around a lot of Europe and the Uk without time constraints, pressure and at a very low cost. She really helped me recover and see the world again without being held back by my disability.
Whilst gazing over the alps of Switzerland last summer, I decided to share Cherry with others like me who want to feel freedom and independence at its finest!
Firstly though, I wanted to give the van a make over and refurbishment to ensure she was perfect for anyone else. How you see her in the photos is now her fully refurbished and looking gorgeous, ready to help you explore the world.

Do not rent this camper. What we got was not what was presented in the write-up. While the outside was clean this was where it ended; upon collection, the vehicle had only 13L of petrol (sufficient to get it to a station), no propane or water, leisure battery did not hold a charge, the interior locks were broken (had to lock from the outside with the key), and the interior was not covid clean as specified by GoBoony (grease on the plates, cigarette butts in the ash tray, juice and ketchup in the top bunk, and an used covid mask and underwear in the cupboard). Further to this, there was damage to the camper that the owner assured us it would be fixed prior to our use (damage to the roof cap and rear driver's side quarter panelling near the propane tank). Renter beware and we should have walked away but the owner seemed sincere at the time and we accepted it based on the age of the vehicle. Other issues arose during our use (squealing heater (bearing) and loud noise from the radiator, and a dimmed headlight) and we had to cut our trip short for fear of a propane leak. While the owner was sympathetic at first, he has now proven to be difficult. Janvier 2022

The owner was very patient and enthusiastic. Would definately hire from GoBoony / or / Ross again should the opportunity arise. Cherry drives extremely well and handles the hills like a van half her age! The interior is modern, the finish gleaming and the awning surpisingly easy to set up. A few minor issues to be expected with a classic but otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Juin 2021
