Chris was very helpful from start to finish and was flexible. He even made sure new tyres were fitted before we travelled. We travelled the nc500 in Gandalf which was equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and who knows we may return! Mai 2024

Chris was fantastic, he explained everything about Gandalf and all his many wonderful features. Chris was also super flexible regarding the pick up and drop off times for us, and even let us have him for an extra day. Gandalf was everything we needed and I must admit I was a bit reluctant to hand him back! We are definitely missing him 😢. Chris is a thoroughly nice guy, an absolute pleasure to deal with. We rented Gandalf – the Grey Campervan from Chris for the second half of August 2023. We spent two weeks driving Gandalf the campervan there and back again from Edinburgh to Isle of Skye, along NC500 and the Eastern coast of Scotland, to Edinburgh. The campervan was very clean, mechanically sound, and well equipped with all utensils that may be needed, and ready for adventure with tank full of diesel, ca. 30 litres (tank + container) of water for drinking and dish washing, and gas cylinder for cooking. Chris provided us with new and warm bed lining, which was great for cool Scottish nights. The Gandalf drives smoothly and handles windy conditions, steep ascends/descends, and curvy roads very well. It is a short version of VW Transporter, which is great for manoeuvring narrow single-track roads in the North and helps with finding parking space in busy places. The fuel tank is generous and lasts for several hundreds of miles, so we were on a safe side when exploring the North Coast. We travelled as family of three, and a double passenger seat in the front row was very welcome. Chris is very responsive, always on time, and very helpful with all arrangements. He showed us how to safely operate all the systems of the Grey Wizard-van before we set for Highlands. We could always contact him if needed. Everything was flawless. We highly recommend him and the Gandalf campervan for Scottish adventures! Août 2023

First and foremost, the van rental experience itself was seamless. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials needed for a comfortable journey. We were actually recommended this van by one of our neighbours who had also taken a trip in it! Chris was very helpful and was able to provide us with all the information and support we needed to get started on our journey. We brought our dog, Rowan, along with us, and she settled into the van life very well! We took the van on a small tour of Dumfries and Galloway as well as the Scottish Borders. The flexibility of travelling in a rented van allowed us to venture off the beaten path. Whether it was parking up next to a serene loch, enjoying a picnic with a view, or simply pulling over to watch the sun go down over the sea. The van allowed us to stop and take moments we would never have considered before. We'd be happy to rent this van again and would easily recommend Gandalf to others. Juillet 2023

Chris was quick to reply and very helpful in assisting me along the way with the process of hiring. He handed over a nice clean fan with a full tank and gave clear instructions on how to operate all of the functions. Gandalf (The campervan) was a nice relaxed drive and the perfect size for touring our highland roads in comfort. I'd definately reccomend Chris and would hire again. Thank you Chris. Juin 2023
