Hi, I'm sad to have seen this review. The different older van was offered to you because the one you had booked had unfortunately had some mechanical issues. This is something that does happen from time to time with campervans and even with the regular servicing and checks my campers go through, sometimes it can't be helped. You were offered a refund or an alternative van and you choose the van. I'm very confused about the not arranging insurance comment, I have annual self drive hire policies for all my campers and I have done for 4 years now so I can only think you are referring to my repeated unanswered requests for the necessary documents I needed from the driver. I have to get certain documents that my insurance requires for every rental. This is no different from any car rental, you have to provide certain documents. There are seatbelts in the back, they are under the seat. There was 2 of you and you never asked me about the rear seatbelts otherwise I would have told you where they were. Did you need them? Why have you commented this if you didn't need them or ask me for them? The van is a classic VW camper, it has no power steering as is common for these, I told you what van it was when you choose to take it instead of a refund. I did not receive any message from you about the horn, when I sent a message checking in with you guys to see if everything was ok your message said this "Takes some getting used to… steering is a bit stiff. But ok! Thanks". If you had told me about the horn we could have worked out a solution. I haven't had anyone have issues with it though so I don't know what was happening. You have claimed that I haven't responded to your messages about this but you didn't send anything to me after the rental and the only comment you made was the one above so I don't know why you have said this.
