Van was reliable but TV and heating failed . Not good as it got cold. The hire company just needed to give the van some 'TLC'. Oil door handfels, check TV and heating both electric and engine wasn't as it should be. Van just needed a 'run-up' minor service with check out before hiring out. We had a good time but getting cold one night and strong diesel smell running up the engine heater wasn't nice, early morning when the electric van heating failed. Janvier 2024

Communication was a little tricky. The van was fine but the leisure battery didn’t work and hence we had no fridge or lights etc. the gas bottle had a small leak and when we rang and spoke to their emergency number we were offered advise which we tried. I do think a little more effort could have been made to help with the battery problem. I also had to chase for the return of my deposit . A simple email letting us know would have been good. Instead I got no reply to text or several calls and eventually a “I am on holdiay” text. Like I was supposed to know that ! I don’t think the company are set up professionally for renting vans. We have hired many over the years and they have all been of a much higher standard. Septembre 2023

We had a good time with this camper and the staff was very friendly and uncomplicated. If you want to have the full camping experience you should bring a few things. This can be a bit difficult if you come from abroad. But let me tell you what is missing: - A outside Table - Bedsheets for the upper and lower bed - Good pans (only small ones available) - And other kitchen appliances We had some issues with the electricity in the car but I guess the team will fix it after us. It was my first time renting a campervan and the whole process was much smoother than I expected. Daniel was friendly and gave me a clear introduction on how to use the van so I felt comfortable with everything. It was a lovely van to drive and nicely insulated so warm at night. Would recommend and hope to be a returning customer. Mai 2023

When we picked up the motorhome, we were shown around the interior by 2 friendly and helpful staff at the garage. It was clear however, that they hadn't been given full instructions on vehicle handover such as the water heater, the cabin heater and outside lockable compartments. We had to work this out together which caused delays. It wasn't clear on the website whether kitchenware was available or not until we arrived. When we questioned this, we were given a plastic picnic set that was missing forks. To the staffs credit, someone went to buy the necessary plates, knives and cutlery immediately. However this only added to our delay in departure. In total we spent 3 hours at the garage. We would consider hiring again now we are better informed what it does and doesn't contain. We were happy with the motorhome itself - it was functional and user friendly for driving and sleeping in. Avril 2023

Motorhome was ready for collection on time and ready to go and came with a friendly and efficient walk over / operating instructions. Drop off was just as easy and the van was a pleasure to drive and use. Mars 2023

We had a great time in the van. Dan and his team were so helpful and were only a message anyway from a few queries we had once we got going! Very well equipped and good to drive. We would definitely rent it again. Only thing I would add is to bring coffee cups! Août 2022

We booked this as our first ever trip in a camper, and were nervous about driving and surviving, let alone thriving. We needn't have worried at all. The passion and enthusiasm that the Cross Street guys have for their campers is evident from the start. Everything was explained thoroughly, presented in superb condition, and a pleasure to call ours for the weekend. Wouldn't hesitate for a moment to rent again. Août 2022
