We booked the van with an option: the sheets for 2 beds / 4 personns. We did not check when we did the 1st check. What a surprise the first night when we saw that we had no sheets. We bough 2 bed quilt. At the check out, The owner said that she will ask to goboony to make a refund.... since the 1st september i did not recieved any money .... very disapointed !! Août 2025

Fantastic We had a great week in the camper van doing the NC500. Booking was easy, handover was fun for two complete novices, and we felt really reassured that if we needed any help or advice someone was always there for us. They also shared a couple of websites to help us find parking and campsites on the go, as this was a last minute break and we hadn’t planned a route or booked any sites. The van had everything we needed, we did five nights on campsites, one in a pub stop (carpark) and one in a forest. Both beds were comfortable and we slept really well. I would highly recommend. The camper was in good condition and we enjoyed it while we had it. However, next time I come to Scotland, I definitely won’t be renting a camper because they are too big to drive comfortably on most roads over there. And unless you have a decent amount of experience with campers/motorhomes, I wouldn’t recommend doing Scotland with one. Gordon was great and reasonable. That being said, Tricia was also mostly reasonable. The only thing was that she asked me to send her more money on top of what I already paid because I was a United States driver and that’s what the insurance required, but I had already put down nearly $5K (about $1.5K for the actual rental and about $3K for security deposit) and apparently that didn’t cover some random insurance thing? I would say the camper cost more than it was worth. That’s just my opinion. But I can almost say that it is objectively too small for 4 adults to sleep in. We were a group of three guys, all about 6’. I would say it was just a little too small for the three of us but we made it work. All in all, Tricia and Gordon are good people. The whole camper idea just didn’t work out as well as we thought it would. Août 2024

Wij hebben via Goboony een camper gehuurd bij Gordon. De boeking en de communicatie van Goboony is zeer goed te noemen. Alles was duidelijk en er waren geen onduidelijkheden. Betreffende de verhuurder, Gordon en zijn vrouw Sarah, kunnen we alleen maar zeer lovend zijn. De camper was in een keurige (nieuw) staat. Voor we vertrokken kregen we een uitgebreide uitleg over de camper zodat alles heel duidelijk was. Wij kunnen iedereen dan ook aanraden hier je camper te huren en te genieten van het mooie Schotland!
