We rented a motorhome for one week to explore the Highlands, and the experience couldn’t have been better. The trip itself was incredible, and the motorhome turned out to be the perfect way to do it. From day one, communication with the team was excellent. They were especially helpful in arranging the pickup in Glasgow, which was essential for us as we were traveling with our 4-month-old baby. That support made a big difference and gave us peace of mind right from the start. The motorhome was very spacious and comfortable, yet surprisingly easy to drive, even on the narrower Highland roads. It struck a great balance between size and practicality. We did run into a small issue when one of the keys broke while opening the vehicle, but the team responded quickly and did everything they could to minimize the disruption and help us continue our trip smoothly. Their support and flexibility really stood out. Overall, we’re बेहद happy with the experience, especially as it was our first motorhome trip. Everything felt easy, well-organized, and enjoyable. Family of four wandering through Scotland From a distance it was 'The Perfect Trip' and a big actor in that outcome was John's motorhome. A bit old, the Van dropped an astonishing performance. We spent half of the eight nights in caravan parks and half off grid camping. On road it was surprisingly agile despite its measures. It was our first campervan experience and obiously some minor issues arised but John's team were allways keen and eager to help. It's nice to feel that someone is taking care of you when traveling abroad Janvier 2026

The van is what you would expect for its age, it was basically fitted out but spacious. the biggest issue was gas running out, which we wasted a whole day trying to sort out on day 5, it turned into a nightmare as the gas locker landed on my sons head as he was trying to remove a gas bottle,, lots of blood! we had to purchase two spanners to remove the bottle then it took hours to swap it as the bottle was from an out of date gas company that no longer existed and no one would take it. Finally we managed to do a sneaky swap. the second bottle is null and void and gas really did not last long so we had to hook up to electricity more that we expected to. we were given an instruction folder which was not fit for purpose, so we could not work the heater at all. would i take this van our again.
