Bonjour, nous sommes Frances & Dave !

Bien que le compte soit à mon nom, notre petite entreprise est une affaire de famille : nous sommes Fran et Dave, mari et femme. Passionnés de plein air, de camping et de voyages en camping-car, nous avons décidé de nous lancer dans l'aventure entrepreneuriale. Machair Adventures est en pleine croissance et nous sommes ravis de vous compter parmi nous. Le machair est cette herbe fleurie que l'on trouve près des dunes de sable des Highlands écossais, où Fran a grandi.

My family and I had the best time in Fran and Dave’s Big Bertha Motorhome. They were wonderful to deal with, provided clear instructions and provided a gorgeous hamper for us and considered my step daughters birthday. The motorhome has everything that we needed and more, it really was a home away from home. We didn’t have any motorhome experience previously but that didn't matter as Fran and Dave walked us through it, it was all super simple. We cannot wait to book with them again. Had a fabulous time in Fran and Dave’s motorhome. Not done this before but we had a good handover and lots of information from them. It’s well equipped and spotless, best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. Great experience for family, fun, laughs, games, together. Enjoying scenery and taking in the relaxing times. Highly recommend. 5 star from start to finish, the handover was great, the motorhome itself was spotless, so modern and perfect for our family of 4. There was everything you could need and more - plus a really thoughtful welcome hamper for ourselves including bits for the kids which was so well received :) We hope to rent from Frances & Dave again for a future trip and will 100% recommend to friends and family x Avril 2026

We hired the motorhome for Feb half term and it was brilliant. Everything was clean and looked brand new. Both Fran and Dave were really friendly, great on communications before, during and after and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I would definitely hire through them again. The motorhome was left in excellent condition and returned beautifully cleaned and at the agreed timings. All house rules were followed and it was a smooth transaction from start to finish.
