Betty has been great for an out of season 8 day road trip.
Birkenhead -> Manchester -> Fowey -> Plymouth -> Portland Bill -> Chichester -> Leicester -> Nottingham -> Mancheser -> Birkenhead including some very stormy weather.
Very warm, comfortable and reliable. Didn't need to pay for any campsites, was convenient and felt safe overnight in lay-byes & car parks.
As long as you are happy with the foibles of an older van (gears, speed, noise etc) and are reasonably agile to climb in, then she is brilliant.
Yes we took coffee making upgrades :-)
The whole experience was different from hiring a standard campervan. Sophie was very helpful from the start to end with clear instructions and available to answer any questions in case we needed her. The Green goddess was spacious, reliable, quirky, certainly a head turner, she had all the equipment including extra blankets, toiletries, excellent stove and oven, utensils, pots, crockery for cooking etc... Thank you Sophie, we will be hiring again.
Betty was a wonderful motorhome for touring North Yorkshire. She maybe an auld girl but she never skipped a beat and provided us with plenty of room and comfort. Sophie gave a very thorough run through of how everything worked upon collection and is lovely. Thank You!

For the age of her, Betty ran like a dream. Inside was comfortable with everything you could need and more! She received lots of positive attention and we really enjoyed exploring the Welsh hills in her.
Sophie was excellent and very knowledgable about Betty, motorhomes in general and places you could park up in for free. She was on hand to answer any queries and made the whole process very easy. We would definitely hire Betty again!
Most enjoyable experience. Sophie did everything she could to help and make our trip special.

It has everything, seriously, everything you could need on any trip. She drives great for a girl of her age and looks cool. Can't believe how many people asked me about her.. As I was scrolling through the campers for hire I came across Betty the green goddess.
Probably not the prettiest of campers but we certainly turned some heads while we were touring round Scotland. Betty was a a dream to drive and managed all the steep hill we had to climb. The inside was fantastically designed and plenty of space. The cooker was great and the beds comfortable. Shower and toilet was fine .
This is the first time in a camper
And I've got to say Betty was fantastic. We had such a laugh driving her around and slept in some fantastic off the grid places. Only one negative it needs a bike rack on the back

The Green Goddess. She is clean, comfortable and very well-equipped. We felt so chilled. The drop off and pick up were easy and Sophie explained everything we needed to know. Our friends were all impressed with her and we were the talk of the campsite. Very good value for money and we are looking forward to our next outing .
