El Grando – camping-car Nissan Elgrand

Go off grid to explore the South Downs, the New Forest or the South Coast in our compact and easy to drive campervan that loves the open road.

With an easy to use pop-top, El Grando has a small double bed downstairs and can sleep two children or 1 adult comfortably upstairs in the pop top. The pop top has see-through PVC 'windows' and vents.

Go completely off grid using power from El Grando's 200 watt solar panel that charges the leisure battery to run the fridge and interior lighting for several days (depending on sunshine) and you also have the option to plug in for mains electric power when in a campsite if needed. The van has twin USB and a double 12v plug socket that works when you have mains connection.

A powered sliding door opens out on the side and, combined with an easy to use table and captain’s passenger chair that spins round, you can drink and dine in the van whilst taking in the views.

An automatic, this van is super easy to drive with a powerful 3.5 litre, V6 engine to whisk you comfortably up hills while other vans struggle. It has power steering.

There is a two burner hob, with ignition spark running off LPG in a dedicated metal gas locker, and sink with water tap pump fed by water container. Both of which have dark glass covers so they can be out of sight.

We provide a basic equipped kitchen, including frying pan and pot, glasses, plates and cooking utensils, as well as sheets, duvet and pillows if required.

The fridge, which is a 30-litre and 12 volt low energy compressor model, has room for several meals plus a freezer compartment.

El Grando has three LED lights in the main area and one in the pop top so reading in bed is easy.

The van offers cooling air con for hot days and a fully temperature controllable LPG heater for colder nights.

I also have a bike rack that can take two mountain bikes which would cost an additional £50 as a one off payment.

El Grando is available for hire for three night minimum rentals.
