Fab time in Wee Minty!
Lovely little van with everything we needed for a trip around North West Scotland.
It has definitely given me a taste for camper van life.
Leila was great to deal with and communication before and after trip was great.

Wee Minty without hesitation
From the start of the booking process to handing the keys back over at the end everything was so easy and perfect! The owners have great communication and no question is to much, the van has really good facilities and is spotless! We had a really good trip round the NC500 and the van made it even better! I would strongly recommend this van to anyone!

Nice campervan, but unfortunately after I scratched the van on our trip they tried to overcharge me for the repairs which I was not happy about.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since your hire! We’re really sorry you feel like we tried to overcharge you - we hate to charge anyone for anything but the van wasn’t just scratched - a large part of the sliding door was damaged right across the side of the van after it was scraped deeply along a wall and had indentation as well as paint removed, so it required panel beating as part of the repair and was off the road for 4 days. We sent the invoices for the work from the garage & decal business, and only recouped this amount from you. Go Boony checks all damages are handled correctly & we believe we were really understanding despite the major damage to the van, as these things can happen. We are so glad you liked the van though, and hope that your trip was still fully enjoyed despite what happened!
We loved our time in wee minty. We hired it for 6 days at the start of April and visited Arisaig, Skye and Harris. The van was well equipped with everything we needed and was super easy to use. Leila and Lauren kept us well informed and were never too far away if we needed to contact them. We are definitely looking forward to hiring wee minty in the future. It always put a smile on our face when we returned to wee minty as he stood out a mile away!!

We really enjoyed minty and had been planning many more adventures. But we’re left beyond disappointed that we charged almost £200 for a tyre replacement after having the van less than 24 hours and we were accused of causing this damage.
We were informed there was wear to that tyre and another and yet we were still left footing the bill.
We were then left without a spare tyre for the rest of our trip and journey home which was directly against RAC advice as the van then had two different sizes of tyres.
We haven’t been presented with any evidence that we caused the damage other than the opinion of their chosen mechanic despite the fact we had relayed that the tyre was worn and wasn’t damaged. This has been ongoing since our trip and for anyone wanting to book a trip with Minty I would strongly advise that the van and tyres are checked thoroughly as we didn’t and have had a large percentage of our deposit kept and we’ve been left accused of causing this damage.

This is something that is very rare, and we’re genuinely sorry this has taken the shine off your experience. We always seek the advice of professionals - in this case an independent garage in Glasgow and the RAC - and followed the Go Boony process as per the paperwork completed by us both. Go Boony checks any damages are handled correctly, and makes any final decision. The last thing we wanted was any hard feelings over this. Leila & Lauren

Our first time with a camper and we couldn’t have loved wee minty and the whole experience more. Everything was so clean it was like new and the time was taken to explain all that was needed so we were comfortable to craic on solo. Only problem is we miss wee minty now.

We had an amazing trip in the Wee Minty !! The van is easy to use (gas, grilloven, electricity, roof tent, etc), even for not super experienced campervan users like ourselves, and very comfortable! All details were present in the van, from cutlery to a first aid kit, to front window insulation, etc. It's a very well designed campervan in general. Pick up and drop off was super easy (thanks to the van owners). Lauren en Leila communicated timely, kindly and helped us out whenever we had a question! Would definately take the minty out for another spin if we get the chance in the future!

Super cool van which is immaculate and had everything you could need.
Lauren and Leila were very helpful in answering any questions I had before hand, and again showing us the ropes when we collected the van for the weekend.

We had a brilliant time in wee minty. Just loved the freedom of moving from campsite to campsite and soaking up the beautiful sights! Easy to drive and work the water, gas, EHU etc were no problem as well.
Would definitely have a holiday in wee minty again!

Absolutely loved our time in ‘Wee Minty’.
Genuinely couldn’t believe how modern it was inside - even has a wireless phone charger built in to the worktop!
It was an ideal size for me and my partner but does sleep more in the top section if need be. Really comfortable to sleep in, I’m not a great sleeper but slept like a log on the fold down bed!
The narrower wheel base of the VW made navigating the NC500’s single-track roads much, much easier compared to a standard RV plus always guaranteed to turn a few heads with the distinctive colour and custom alloys.
The owners are lovely and very accommodating! Highly recommend to anyone looking for adventure in Scotland in style!

Wee Minty is a lovely motorhome, very clean and smart, containing everything we needed. Leila and Lauren were great, taking us through everything on arrival and easily available during the trip and at the end. Communication was really easy throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day staycation in Minty. We loved the freedom of being able to move around and go wherever we wanted without having to worry about accommodation for the night.
The camper van is equipped with everything you need and is very spacious and comfortable.
