Clifford was a great host and very communicative. He was thorough with handover and the van was a good fit for our trip. The three seats in the back gave my kids plenty room even with two car seats hooked in. Even having my eldest ride up front every once in a while wasn't a problem. The seating was spacious for a family. We camped at a site with no electricity and we seemed well off with the solar panels to charge small devices with no issue when parked.

Cliff was incredibly helpful and explained everything we needed to know for our weekend away. The van was fantastic, well equipped and very easy to use.

Black Beauty drives like a dream and has every convenience for campers. Clean, tidy and well equipped, the long wheelbase made it convenient to keep the bed made up throughout our trip. We had a lovely weekend in Suffolk and in spite of the very cold temperatures (we took a lot of blankets) we had an amazing time.

Really great campervan. When renting I think having simplicity (less things to break) is a good thing. This van has everything you need rather than all the things you don't need. Cliff is great, very personable and helpful. He is always there at the end of the email too if you need him.

Myself and my 2 children decided to use a campervan this year for our annual trip to Mersea. Both handovers collecting and returning were quick and simple. The van was great to drive and the kids had plenty of choices of where to sit/sleep and the pop top was easy to use too.

This was our first campervan experience and cliff was so helpful with all aspects, enquiring beforehand, booking, handover and return. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience from Cliff.
The campervan itself was a very good standard and very easy to drive. We were impressed with the fuel efficiency which was a nice surprise.
Our own learning was to take extra pillows and a mattress topper as we liked a softer sleeping area.

Thank-you for that Mark. I'm really pleased your first experience of life in a campervan was so good. The VW with its auto gearbox is a delight to drive and provides a comfortable home from home that fits into a parking space. The RIB bed (the wider version this van provides for 3 belted seats in the rear when you're travelling) has an excellent reputation for its engineering, but some people do find them rather firm.

My wife and I along with our daughter hired Clifford’s VW camper for 3 nights to head to the coast. It was a last minute hire (night before) but Clifford couldn’t have been more helpful with making sure the van would be ready for us in the morning.
During pickup we were shown all the features of the van as this was a first time camper experience for us. Everything we needed was there, Clifford was even kind enough to lend us a dog bowl and blanket for our little dog we brought with us on the trip. Van performed without issue for our 3 days off grid trip.
On handing back the van no issues at all, deposit returned within hours.
