My partner, Luna (our dog), and I spent five days road-tripping along the west coast of the NC500, and we had the best time. We hired a Mercedes Sprinter from Jason, which we named “Bonnie” for the week. When we picked it up, it was immaculate, and the check-in process only took around 20 minutes. Everything was clearly explained. The van itself was in excellent condition and easy to drive. It was also fully equipped with everything we needed, from pots and pans to all the utensils for cooking homemade meals. There was even a shower hose at the back, which came in very handy after trips to the beach. The converter and heater were straightforward to use, and Jason provided a helpful folder with instructions and troubleshooting tips, which was a great touch. Dropping the van back off was just as easy, the check-out process was quick and hassle-free. Afterwards, we went for lunch and coffee at Jason’s coffee shop and his wonderful emporium of house, garden, and furniture items, Simply Dutch. This van has been a gem, taking me to the lakes, the beach, the forest, the lochs , northberland and the Pennines in wet conditions and has handled the road fantastic with the all weather Tyres. All off grid effortlessly. We stretched the water out too. Pick up was smooth with safe and ample parking for my car and Emily was friendly helpful. The van has so much space for all my over packing , outdoor stuff included and the golf clubs with great storage solutions inside and I particular like the over bed clothes nets for getting dressed in the morning. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had everything apart from a tin opener which I packed and a bottle opener which I didn’t! We didn’t heat the water in the first day driving but soon worked it out. The heater was quiet and cosy. The seats to swivel are abit stick and better to do with doors open and once you get the knack are easy. The dining table is also quick and easy. The van was economical on diesel too. Jason was flexible with pick up and drop off which help the mile management through the journey. Will be hiring again. Novembre 2025

Me and the Mrs had a great time doing the Scotland NC500 in Jason’s Mercedes Slrinter van. Rear wheel drive with off road tires made it a very capable machine and handled the roads very well. I would recommend Jason and his camper to anyone trying out Goboony especially because his communication was great and he was able to answer any on the road questions. Septembre 2025

This is not a motorhome with all the bells and whistles. It is very good at off grid, we did not plug this van into any power for the 10 days we used it. We did the nc500 in it and as a couple with a dog it was perfect. Lots of little things that made a difference (shower on the back so we did not bring sand or dirt into the van worked a treat for j stance). Some minor issues during the holiday, but Jason was on hand to answer questions and none of the issues were enough for us to break stride on our adventure. Août 2025

Tout simplement incroyable ! Nous avons loué le sprinter jaune NC500 pour dix jours, avec l'intention de terminer la course dans un mois de janvier particulièrement enneigé. Nous sommes arrivés en Écosse après une semaine de chutes de neige très abondantes. Le camping-car a parfaitement géré la situation, nous avons eu des nuits où les températures sont descendues en dessous de -9 et il est resté confortablement chaud et douillet avec une utilisation minimale du chauffage. Une heure avant de dormir et un réglage du thermostat pour qu'il s'allume une heure avant notre réveil ont suffi à garder la cabine au chaud. Ce qui témoigne de la qualité de construction et de la réflexion qui a été mise en place lors de l'aménagement. Il ne manque de rien dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour n'importe quel voyage. L'eau chaude instantanée avec un réservoir de grande capacité nous a permis de rester hors des sentiers battus sans avoir besoin de recharger de l'eau fraîche pendant des jours, la bonne capacité de la batterie nous a permis de ne jamais manquer d'énergie. Même en utilisant 240v pour les bouilloires. Sèche-cheveux, etc. Ce qui est un plus appréciable si vous partez hors réseau pendant plusieurs jours. L'espace de rangement et de garage est idéal pour les planches à pagaie, les vélos, etc. Un grand lit confortable. Et surtout une douche chaude à la fin de la journée. Le van lui-même se conduit parfaitement, dispose de suffisamment de puissance pour les routes de montagne. Et il est suffisamment compact pour ne pas paraître trop grand sur les virages en épingle ou les routes B étroites. Le camping-car nous a permis de nous concentrer sur le paysage et les lieux où nous allions sans compromis ni souci et je le recommande vivement à tout le monde. N'ayez pas peur de faire la NC500 en hiver ! Préparez-vous simplement à être plus autonome et à être un conducteur confiant :) Janvier 2025

We had an outstanding time. From the lead up to the booking all the way to returning the van and everything in between couldn’t been more perfect. Jason, goboony and the van I genuinely do not have anything to complain about. Nothing. Exceptional service. The van build itself has been built in a way that means travel is dead quite, no cups and plates clanking around which were supplied along with ALL cooking accessories. Lots of storage both above bed , below the bed & extended into the very large garage. We took 2 paddle boards and ALOT of stuff(too much, the van had everything) and still we had space in the garage. There’s space in the front to make a doggo seat, our boy loved it. The shower works surprisingly well and getting dinner done, getting washed and the bed back up doesn’t take long nor is it inconvenient - just maximises your space during the day. All and every additional accessories related to camping or van life was included. Exceptionally priced, great value for money and ever more fun! We will be hiring again Octobre 2024

Beautiful experience! We found the campervan comfortable and cozy, as well as practical in daily organization. It has everything you need. The dimensions are perfect for the narrow streets along the NC500 and you can park it anywhere. The ability to connect your smartphone with Android Auto is very useful. We particularly appreciated the presence of the internal shower and the bedding stuff. Août 2024
