Dean is a Great host and it was a real easy handover when collecting Doris, he explains everything you need to know before you leave, She’s immaculately clean and tidy, just take your own quilt, food & alcohol for a few cocktails at night under the stars on the coast taking in the views 😍 me, my partner and Ziggy the dog hired doris for a week for Christmas and went home to North Yorkshire to stay in Whitby (very cold weather up there) but the camper was very very comfortable and warm with the mattress topper and diesel heater, we had the best sleep we’ve had in a long time, 5 stars all the way we highly recommend to anyone looking to hire a camper to go and explore, she’s the perfect little setup for any weather and for off grid, the only part we didn’t like was when we had to give her back 😂 we’ve already planned our next couple of trips to explore Cornwall and a trip over to jersey.
Thank you for the hire dean we had an amazing Christmas and can’t wait for our next trip with Doris, we appreciate it, see you soon

Dean a donc remis le lit en place pendant que je terminais l'état des lieux et n'a donc pas vu la pluie. Il n'y avait pas d'enregistrement vidéo, ce qui a rendu mon premier matin un peu compliqué. J'ai réussi à tirer la sangle depuis l'arrière du fourgon (ce qui est en fait assez facile), même si c'est différent de sa méthode 🙃… Je recommande cette méthode à toute personne qui n'a pas la taille et la force nécessaires pour le faire depuis l'avant.

Thank you Janine, it was great meeting you and I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Europe. You were the first person to hire DORIS in such cold weather and I'm sorry that things were less than 100% - the weather was really aweful when you left, but I'm glad you had a few days of sunshine. She is booked in this week to have the cab heating looked at before the next scheduled hire in December. There is actually video on the bed, but it isn't in the book because it's the full tour that I only send to people when someone else is checking out DORIS for me. However, I'm now going to put this one in the book too!

We thoroughly enjoyed having Doris! It was our First time camping in a van. The handover over with dean was great and smooth. The only annoying bit was the long paperwork on the app (not deans fault). We went all around the Cornish and Devon coast in 8 days, including Dorset. Visiting places like Plymouth, looe, Penzance, lands end, st Ives, Newquay , perranporth, Dartmoor and the new forest with our dog. There was some days we were watching the sunset on the beach, we had some rainy times too but we made the most of it. Deans videos are very helpful if you’re ever stuck. The little details made Doris extra special like tea, coffee, cups, pillows. Also, to hand was the videos with qr codes and deans contact number in the van - very helpful. We had a great holiday! We would happily use Doris again :) x

Using Doris for a trip to Newquay was a dream. From the initial contact with Dean making the enquiry, to the handover of her. It was a very easy process. Dean was very thorough was his handover explaining how everything worked and had even produced a folder with useful QR links to videos incase you needed them.
The trip it self was amazing with everything you need included for a weekend away …. Even tea and coffee.
Then returning Doris back home to Dean, the paperwork was easy and the deposit released within minutes.
We would highly recommend Doris to anyone wanting to try transporter life.

We enjoyed a fantastic bank holiday as a family of 3 with Doris, she's a great camper! Well equipped with everything you need from pots and pans to super comfy mattress toppers. Dean was brilliant, very helpful with the booking process and even had how to videos for setting everything up. He had thought of everything.

Our trip in Doris was faultless! From Dean & Jo’s welcome and explanation of the van, through to us returning the keys, we had the most amazing experience. The van itself is beautifully fitted out and the bed and mattress topper are plenty comfortable for two! The van itself drives beautifully and the additional extras offered (camping chairs, table, stove etc.) with the van were certainly a little bonus, oh and we can’t forget the biscuits… a lovely little surprise when opening the cupboard to grab a teabag! We wouldn’t hesitate to book Doris again and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend others to use her!
