All our dealings with Chris were completely easy & simple, especially the hand over, the GOBOONY form that is completed by owner & renter make the process understandable for everyone and leaves nothing to chance.
We spent the first night in Kenmore at Drummond Hill forestry car park, £12 on RINGO, as we’d booked the floating sauna at TAYMOUTH MARINA early the next day, check out the HOT BOX as well, definitely worth fitting in if possible.
Headed off to Granton on Spey via the Queens view and tried to travel on the A9 as little as possible, few coffee stops along the way, as we’d pre booked the site it was hassle free. We ate at CRAIGS, pie & chips is the menu, and Robbie the front of house is a character, would recommend.
Next stop was Rosemarkie on the Black Isle, amazing campsite right on the beach, beside the golf course, amazing!!
Next stop was the long drive back to Aberfeldy, so that we were closer to the drop off point.
All the campsites were great, showers, toilets, laundry facilities and dish washing facilities too and all spotless.
We absolutely loved our trip in RONNIE the van and would definitely recommend, we will absolutely book another trip but head up the west coast and try a bit more off grid.

Would absolutely recommend a trip with Ronnie! We hired Ronnie for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon and took a trip up to the Scottish Highlands, it was so dreamy to have the freedom to wake up next to the beach and mountains. Ronnie had everything we needed for the trip. Chris was really helpful as well at handover and when we came back. Would definitely love to take a trip with Ronnie again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the North Coast 500 and Ronnie served us well handling the single track roads with ease. There were a couple of minor issues, none of which were too serious and we were supported well by Chris. The camper van road trip is filed away in good memories!

We used Ronnie for 4 weeks spending all this time in Scotland. It is a compact van that has everything you need to live in both free camping and using campsites. The fridge is small but with the use of an esky (chilly bin) for drinks. The bed is transverse so was a little short for my hubby but we made it work. It has a great heater that heats the van within minutes, which runs on gas. The boot space was great to keep our luggage bags in.
Ronnie did not miss a beat and reliability was important to us.
Chris was very responsive if we had questions. Easy hand over and drop off. Would recommend this van especially if you are used to living in a small space.

Ronnie was a great van to go around the outer Hebrides for ten days. Chris was a great host and very quick to respond when we asked a question
The van is easy to drive with quiet engine and economical The bed is not huge but it is comfortable. The van is well set up for off grid. The garage is huge. To note that the dining table on the photos has been replaced by a coffee table but there is a fold up outside table for meals.
We wouldn't hesitate to hire it again if we were planning to do another trip like this one in the future. Thanks Chris!

Our trip with Ronnie was just perfect - everything we imagined and more. Chris was an amazing owner, giving detailed instructions before starting our trip, always answering our questions quickly via WhatsApp and ready to help. The van itself was extremely comfortable, equipped with everything needed for our trip along the NC500: driving was very easy (thanks for the automatic gearbox), heating and cooking was comfortable, and Ronnie's off-grid qualities helped us to travel freely, spending the nights by beaches and beautiful spots. Would 100% recommend hiring with Chris, and if we ever have a chance to return to Scotland, we would definitely hire from him again.

Had an incredible MTB roadtrip with my partner in Ronnie. The van is very pleasant and easy to drive, fully equipped with everything needed for off-grid living, and a really comfortable and cozy space to exist in. Chris is very friendly and was really responsive and helpful in arranging pick up and drop off, explaining how everything works, and answering any questions we had along the way. We also found the provided instruction book to be particularly well put together and guided us through any of the processes we had to follow when they were needed, eliminating all the uncertainty we had as a result of very little prior experience.
