We returned from a wonderful three-night weekend break in the New Forest staying at Hollands Wood Caravan Park, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience!
As a family of four (two adults and two kids), this was our very first time hiring a campervan, and it was the perfect introduction to van life.
Before setting off, we had a thorough handover with Nikki, who was absolutely brilliant—warm, friendly, and incredibly detailed in showing us how everything worked. Dub-Di the VW campervan itself was delivered in immaculate condition and looked super cool!
During our trip, we got a full taste of the classic British summer with a real mix of weather! Experiencing both sunshine and rain was actually a blessing in disguise, as it showed us just how cozy, adaptable, and fun living in a well-designed small space can be. The kids absolutely loved every minute of the adventure!
We had such a fantastic time that we are already planning to book again for next year—this time hopefully taking the VW on a road trip to France!
