We live in Australia & our communication with Juley was very average, often requiring reminder emails to get her to respond as we had many questions. The handover was not done by Juley but by her partner (who isn't involved in the business). We departed with a heater not working, cracked cover for the HWS Exhaust, hooks that should have been replaced, broken toilet roll holder, a single bed top sheet (none would have been provided but we asked for one & queen bottom sheet). We had to fix the heater as it is cold early June in the UK which was merely that a battery required replacement however without tools we could not reassemble the heater fully (Juley made a complaint in the comments to Goboony). No apology that we didn't have a working heater. I should highlight the motor home does not have Air Conditioning and when we asked if a fan was provided Juley's response was "what for". The UK experienced many heatwaves this summer so a fan would have gone a long way to add to the comfort of our holiday. Also of note is that there is no windscreen blockout cover and the drapes were thin cotton and provided no darkness so sleeping was very difficult as the motorhome was light as there are long day/night of brightness in the UK during summer we discovered & we longed to have the ability to block that light out. Half way through our 9 week trip the passenger door failed to open from the inside. The roof fly screens allow midges to come in as the screen no longer affixes to the sides which we pointed out before our departure so this 20+ year motorhome was in need of some TLC. We also incurred fines in shopping parking lots (we were unaware that they took photos of your license plate) & as Juley was away it wasn't until the 4th fine that she notified us. This cost an additional $500.00 but no where in Juley's notes was this pointed out. She was also absent towards the end of our holiday & she claimed she had no service. She was unable to even drive us to the train station when we returned the motorhome, which is located out in woop woop (even though she had offered this earlier(. The van had to be returned by 10.00am and she asked why we didn't launder the sheets and towels - unbelievable. So our experience with Juley did not meet expectations. To hire her motorhome was $12,000.00 so we had greater expectations. Would we hire through her again, absolutely not, perhaps Australia has much higher standard of trying to please the consumer but this was not our experience.
Our trip was wonderful despite this poor service as we did not allow this to impact the purpose of our trip which was to explore the beauty that is England, Wales and Scotland which was a 5 star experience.

Réaction de Juley
Peter and Brenda asked many questions before their trip which I replied to in a timely manner but there is a time difference with Austrailia and UK so it wasn't exactly immediate, especially as I had work in between this.
I was away for an Exam on the date they picked up the van , my husband who has done this before in my absence stepped in as I couldn't change the date of my exam.
The wat Peter a Brenda treated Carys was very matter of fact and appeared that they didn't care about her too much. Using her in a rough way pulling ruber off the door suround whilst speaking to me , breaking the handle on the passenger door , messing up the hatch blind and breaking the fridge door moulding.
I provided extra bedding and towels and my husband took a matress topper from another van to please them. They refused to pay for the extras they hired ie BQ and fuel for it table and chairs. They went to Scotland and the Isle of Skye in June!! of course there were midges. It is reknown for this thats why it is a bad time to go.
The fines had nothing to do with me I offered advice , apps and over night stop information, to them. They decided to stop over in school and supermarket carparks so when we cam back from a week away after they had gone we found 4 fines on the door mat and a 5th arrived at home whilst we were here.
They signed the form to say they would pay for any fines incurred on the day of pick up.
It isn't true about me asking if they laundered the sheets although they did mention going into a camping site to do washing if I did it was a joke (they don't get)
I couldn't take them to the station which is 10 mins down the road as I didn't have a suitable vehicle as my car had broken down and was in the garage. I explained this to them and I arranged a taxi instead for them so they wouldn't miss their train.
I feel that the above review is a little unfair and that if they wanted a top class vehicle brand new there were plenty of more expensive places to hire from.
they tried to wild camp everywhere to save money and this back fired for them.
I must admit they were a little critical of everything. Still you can't please everyone.
