Ruby
Everything went smoothly. Tony was really friendly and helpful. Ruby was a great companion for my trip!
I got used to the quirks pretty quickly, It’s an old vehicle so might take some getting used to for some e.g the gears and steering. I forgot to bring my usb charger for cigarette lighter socket but I borrowed one so all was well! Would higher again for another trip 🙂
Adam
Ruby is full of character and is very rewarding to drive and stay in. Took me a little to get used to driving coming from only haven driven relatively modern cars, but it didn’t take long to get into the groove. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a more unique experience.
Claire
Ruby was a delight. Took a little while for my husband to get used to the gears, but after that it drove like a dream.
Paul
I hired Ruby and drove to Scotland to drive the NC500 and Skye. I would recommend a camper van rather than a motor home as they are smaller . There are a lot of single track rds so a camper van suits the smallwr rds.
Ruby drove really well and was vwry reliable, had a small issue and had to call Tony and Janine, they were so helpfull and put me at complete ease, everything was sorted within a couple of hours and i was on my way again.
So right from the begining from booking through until i returned, if ever i needed to know anything they were would get back to me quickly.
I would highly recommend hiring from these people, they really did go the extra mile🙂
Réaction de Tony
Hi Paul,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review.
We're delighted to hear that you had such a fantastic trip around the NC500 and Skye with Ruby. We agree that a campervan can be a great choice for Scotland's single-track roads, and it's wonderful to know that Ruby proved reliable and well-suited to the journey.
We're also pleased that we were able to help quickly when the issue arose and get you back on the road with minimal disruption. Providing support and peace of mind throughout the hire experience is something we take great pride in, so your kind words mean a lot to us.
Thank you again for your recommendation and for choosing us for your Scottish adventure. We hope to welcome you back for another road trip in the future!
Best wishes,
Janine & Tony

My first camper van holiday.
Tony and Janine were most helpful in giving help and advice and reliably made contact at various stages to confirm details of booking, pickup and collection.
As advertised Ruby is a vintage vehicle that reflects her age. I thoroughly enjoyed driving Ruby along the Norfolk coast and overall had an excellent holiday.
Brian
I hired Ruby - a Holdsworth VW T25 as a Christmas gift for my wife. From the point of initial booking, Tony and Janine could not have been more helpful (they also provided a gift card for presentation on Christmas day FOC which was a nice touch). Throughout the hire process, communication and assistance from Tony and Janine was abundant and the vehicle pick up and drop off was a breeze. Ruby was in excellent condition and attracted many compliments during our trip.
All in all a great experience and great hirer's - many thanks!
