Fantastic! The motor home we hired (Hamish) was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was spotless. It was actually spacious! There were 2 of us, although it will sleep 4. The bed was comfy, the cooking facilities were spot on and even the shower was big enough to not make having a shower a chore and the hot water lasted long enough to have a proper wash. Neither of us had driven a motor home before so it felt a bit daunting but it was really easy and comfy to drive. The overall size takes a bit of getting used to but we took it slow and steady and didn’t feel too stressed even on the narrow roads. We did a number of small ferry crossings and navigating on/off wasn’t a problem. Jodie was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We did a joint inspection of the van before we set off and Jodie gave us a really helpful explanation of how everything is operated. We easily got into the groove of switching on/off the gas, using the heating (all straightforward) and generally utilising the equipment so it stayed a cosy and accommodating home. We hired for a week and pootled around Mull and the highlands and it was a wonderful adventure. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire from Jodie again.
