We hired Jo’s campervan for a 5-day trip down to Devon to see family, and it was our first time driving one – so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. But it turned out to be such an easy and enjoyable experience. It drove really smoothly, and all the features were surprisingly straightforward to use, even as complete beginners.
Jo was really lovely to deal with throughout – great communication from the start and very happy to answer any questions we had both before and during the trip, which made a big difference as first-timers.
We loved the freedom it gave us. One of the highlights was parking up right by the beach – it got lots of positive attention from passers-by! Waking up, stepping straight out for an early morning walk on a quiet, empty beach, and then coming back to make a cuppa to take with us… it felt pretty special.
The whole trip has inspired us to get a campervan of our own.
