Ana and Claudio are very kind people who love their Van. We had a great time with Helga (name of the van) the van though old is from one of the best era’s of german cars. I was baffled at how the strong diesel engine would not give a kick on the steep roads Portugal has. the amenities in the van are great. The gas stove works very well and having a sink makes life in the van really livable. The owners are very responsive and willing to help with questions during the stay. Upon arrival they even proposed to take us to our stay for the night, so we did not need to hastle around the city with our bags I would warmly recomend this experience for anybody that wants to visit portugal in the best way possible, in an old reliable van!
This was our first caravanism experience and the owners went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The van was as advertised and perfectly adequate. We recommend the experience.
A viagem foi curta mas correu nuito bem. Viajamos com o nosso filho de 10 anos que ficou a dormir na cama de baixo enquanto nós ficamos na cama da tenda, em cima. Durante a tarde experimentamos colocar o toldo e com uma manta no chao aproveitamos para fazer uma bela sesta à sombra. A carrinha na estrada porta-se bem, tem bastante força e uma bela surpresa foi o cruise control que ajuda as viagens na autoestrada. Obrigado Ana, foi um dia bonito com a familia e vou deixar a sua carrinha nos favoritos para no proximo Agosto fazermos umas ferias mais longas :)
