Bonjour c'est nicolas, statisticien et je loue mes 3 VW Combi T2 B de 1978 dans mon temps libre au départ du quartier de Collblanc à Barcelone! Celui-ci en orange est Lenny.
Echappez-vous pour 3-4 jours en Catalogne (Costa Brava, Garrotxa, Sitges, Monserrat, Ruppit etc.), ou plus loin pour une semaine voir plus (Pays Basque, îles Baléares, etc.)

Un van de 1978 con ganas de recorrer mundo! Muchas gracias Nicolás! 100% recomendable
We rented Lenny for five nights in the middle of October, as a birthday present for my boyfriend. We are a Swedish couple owning a T2 of our own, and wanted to see the north of Spain! What was positive? There were NEVER any problems for Nicholas. Everything could be solved, and he always replied very fast, which felt really safe and calm. Lenny brought us nearly 1000km and people happily waved when they saw us. Lenny worked good and never complained, even in the storm and gravt rain! Due to bad weather, we didn’t used the portable kitchen that much, but once we did it worked fine. On the negative side, Lenny would need a face lift on the inside, the photos taken on the website I would say is a bit of his former glory. The sofa is really hard to sleep on, the table isn’t installed anymore (we were loaned a small lower table, but it didn’t work that well because of the height) and the curtains really needed to be cleaned. Overall, we enjoyed the ride!

Families and tourists were snapping pictures, waving, and coming up to talk about the campervan. And thanks to TOMATINA, we even made new camping friends along the way — turns out, cute vans bring people together! 😄 What made the trip even more special was sharing this experience with my partner. There's something about cruising in TOMATINA that just makes the whole journey feel like a fun, shared adventure. We spent quality time together, enjoying the simple pleasures of the road, all while making memories that we’ll cherish forever. TOMATINA is more than just a campervan; it’s a little icon that spreads happiness wherever it goes. Can't wait for our next adventure!

The rental was all good and the van works as it is advertised (I mean it's a 1978 vehicle so don't expect a fancy new van :) ). However, the interiors require some love from the owner. The tents inside the vehicle are a bit dirty, the glasses are broken and the tools (e.g. table etc) can be easily substituted with new ones. That being said, the experience was amazing! I recommend it (maybe for a weekend max :) ).
