We both had a great couple of days in Robs vw that 2 weeks later we went and bought a camper van thanks Rob

I hired Rob’s campervan for a few weeks over the summer to do a road trip with my daughter and we had a brilliant time.
It’s a dream to drive, very smooth and feels more like a regular car than a diesel van.
The inside is much more spacious than I expected and there was room to move around and cook, and for my daughter to play, which was especially good the couple of times we arrived somewhere in the rain. And yet the van is still small enough to park the supermarket and manoeuvre down country lanes in Cornwall and Wales, and under height barriers.
The only drawback is that it the leisure battery doesn’t charge up while you drive, so you’ll need to plug it into the mains every few days (campsite or regular plug socket). Not a huge issue, just something so be aware of if you’re planning to spend a lot of time off grid.
The whole hire process was really easy and Rob was super relaxed and quick to respond to queries. Would definitely hire again if he’ll have us!

This camper is amazing, got everything you need for a little family get away. i was concerned about our Children being cold but the heater was great! We normally camp so it was great to have the added bonus of a fridge, heater and a dry space. There’s youtube videos to help with how to work everything and we found this very helpful. we can’t wait to rent again! Thank you

Our first time in a van and it won't be our last thanks to Rob! A really spacious and well equipped van with everything we needed for our five day touring trip to Northumbria - cooker, small fridge, storage space, awning, comfortable (and not too small!) double bed, camping chairs and plenty of USB ports for charging. We only had electric hook up for the first three days but the internal battery kept going for the other two days of the trip.
We watched the really helpful instructional videos to get the best out of all the features - our first night we managed our two teenage children with us and they also really enjoyed it. Even after a wet day in Durham we had a warm night in the van - confess to a bit of gloating over those under canvas!

Great camper, weather on our trip was awful but the vav kept our spirits up, we were warm and comfy, with everything we needed. Rob was a great renter to communicate with. I'd say take an extra layer to lie on as the pull out bed is very firm.
