Highly recommend V1 Campers. Maxine and Kenny helped me out last minute when my campervan broke down less than 12 hours before a trip to the Isle of Mull. ‘Berty’ was an absolute joy to travel in, kitted out with everything you need. Easy to use and comfy and cosy to sleep in.
A real head turner and looks great in photos, brilliant for multiple ferry trips and handles both single track roads and motorways easily.
I will definitely be using them again in future!

The campervan was perfect for our Arran holiday with everything we needed in a very smart looking van. Pick up and handback was smooth with Kenny explaining everything we needed to know as we were first time Campervanners. Kenny has 2 or 3 vans and I would recommend him if you want a hassle free hire.

All went very well. Kenny collected us from the station. The van was immaculate. We drove 600 mile camping wild most nights. The cooker and fridge worked fine. It is a good idea to check water consumption. The bed was very comfortable. we provided our own duvet. The van is easy to drive and quite economical.. I would thoroughly recommend hiring this van. We hired Kenny’s van for a holiday in the Scottish Highlands and on the Isle of Skye, and it was simply a fantastic experience in every respect.
From the very first contact, Kenny proved to be extremely helpful: he answered all our questions clearly and promptly, immediately putting us at ease and providing all the information we needed to set off without any worries. Even during the rental period he was always available. This level of care allowed us to enjoy our holiday in complete peace of mind.
Berty is absolutely perfect for an on-the-road adventure in Scotland. Besides looking beautiful with its cherry red and white colours, it is carefully maintained down to the smallest detail and fully equipped with everything you could need. We found it clean, practical, and welcoming. The kitchen is complete with oven, hob, and all the necessary utensils (plates, pans, etc.), ideal for preparing a hot meal after a full day of exploring.
Driving Berty was easy and safe: the campervan is compact and manoeuvrable, perfect for tackling the scenic – and sometimes narrow – roads of the Highlands.
In short, we would wholeheartedly recommend both the van and the owner. Kenny was an impeccable host – friendly and reliable – while Berty turned out to be the ideal travel companion, allowing us to experience Scotland in complete freedom and comfort. We could not have asked for a better adventure!

The van is excellent. I drove up to Fintry for 2 nights off grid camping in the Campsies. Warm, very comfortable and well equipped. Square sausage never tasted so good!
Kenny is a star. Offered a pick up and drop off service and had loads of great tips for the camper. Totally recommend.

Excellent customer service and they explained everything before I set off. The van was lovely to drive so smooth. Once stopped and set up the van done us perfectly. My son said he had the best nights sleep ever in the pop top and the rock and roll bed was comfy too. We only slept in the van and used the heating which was great.
